ANTONIO DIAZ DEL BO (Tony Díaz) arquitecto/AA. Dpl. (Pl. dpt.). He graduated as an Architect in 1964 at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Studies of the National University of Buenos Aires, and attended post graduate courses in Italy (1968) and at the Architectural Association in London where he obtained the AA. Dipl.-Planning Department (1969-71). He lives and works in Madrid since 1988.

He designed and built many works in Argentina and in Spain, and obtained prizes in several national and international architectural and urban design competitions. His works and projects have been published in international journals (A + U, Domus, Summa, UR, Arquitectura y Vivienda, Spazio e Societa, Geometría, etc.) and exhibited, among other places, at the Paris Biennial Architectural Exhibition and the Biennale di Venezia. He has lectured and exhibited his works at the Milan Polytechnic, the Faculty of Architecture in Venice, the Colegio de Arquitectos in Barcelona, the Universidad Autónoma de México, the Universidad de Sevilla, the EPAC in París, etc. He was Full Professor at the Facultad de Arquitectura of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (1984-1987) and Professor of Design at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. During 1989-90 he lectured at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. In 1994 he was Professor at the Master’s Course Proyecto de las Periferias, Universidad Politécnica de Barcelona.

He published many articles in specialised journals and the following books: "Apuntes de Arquitectura” (1981); "La Escuelita 1976-1981: 5 años de enseñanza alternativa en la Argentina" (1982), "Relevamientos" (1985), "Textos de Arquitectura" (1987).
